
Air Fryer Lemon Pepper Chicken Skewers
Juicy, zesty, and perfectly seasoned — these chicken skewers bring bold citrus flavor with a peppery kick, cooked to perfection in the air fryer.
Allowed for Ideal Protein phases 1 to 3.

Ingredients
- 1½ lbs. Boneless Chicken Thighs, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1 tbsp. Garlic, minced or grated
- 1 tbsp. Lemon Zest
- 1 tbsp. Olive Oil
- 1 tsp. Salt
- 1 tsp. Freshly Ground Black Pepper
- ¼ tsp. Paprika

Preparation
Step 1
In a large bowl, combine garlic, lemon zest, olive oil, salt, pepper, and paprika.
Step 2
Add chicken pieces and toss to coat evenly. Let marinate for at least 15 minutes.
Step 3
Thread marinated chicken onto skewers, leaving a little space between each piece for even cooking.
Step 4
Set the air fryer to 375°F (191°C). Lightly spray the basket with oil.
Step 5
Arrange skewers in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
Step 6
Cook for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until chicken reaches 165°F (74°C) and is golden brown.
Step 7
Transfer to a plate and serve warm. Enjoy!
