Basil Spinach
Sautéed spinach and basil with fragrant garlic and toasted pine nuts create a delicate, herb-forward side.

Ingredients
- 2 tsp. Olive Oil
- 4 Cloves Garlic, thinly sliced
- ⅓ cup (2 Oz) Pine Nuts
- 8 cups Fresh Spinach Leaves
- ½ tsp. Kosher Salt
- ¼ tsp. Black Pepper
- 2 cups Fresh Basil Leaves

Preparation
Step 1
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Step 2
Add sliced garlic and pine nuts. Sauté 1–2 minutes until fragrant and lightly toasted.
Step 3
Add spinach to the skillet and toss gently. Cook 2–3 minutes until spinach begins to wilt.
Step 4
Season with salt and black pepper.
Step 5
Remove from heat and stir in fresh basil leaves until just wilted.
Step 6
Serve immediately while warm.
