Canned Tuna Burgers

A quick, protein-packed meal with pantry staples—crispy outside, tender inside!

Allowed for Ideal Protein phases 1 to 3.

Ingredients

  • 2 Cans (5 oz.) Tuna in Water, Drained
  • 2 tbsp. Approved Mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp. Dijon Mustard
  • 2 tsp. Fresh Garlic, Minced
  • 2 Large Eggs, Lightly Beaten
  • ½ tsp. Salt
  • ÂĽ tsp. Black Pepper
  • ½ cup Fresh Parsley, Chopped (or Cilantro)
  • 2 tbsp. Olive Oil

Preparation

Step 1

In a mixing bowl, combine tuna, mayonnaise, mustard, garlic, eggs, salt, pepper, and parsley. Mix until evenly blended.

Step 2

Shape the mixture into 4 small patties or 2 large ones, depending on your preference.

Step 3

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.

Step 4

Place the patties in the hot pan and cook for 3–4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and firm.
