Horseradish Shrimp
Bold and zesty shrimp coated in a spicy horseradish-tomato sauce — quick to cook, punchy in flavor, and perfectly balanced with fresh lemon.
Allowed for Ideal Protein phases 1 to 3.

Ingredients
- ¼ cup Tomato Paste
- ¼ cup Prepared Horseradish, drained
- 1½ tbsp. Extra-virgin Olive Oil
- ¾ tsp. Hot Sauce
- Salt and Freshly Ground Black Pepper, to taste
- 2 lbs Large Shrimp, peeled and deveined (tails on)
- Lemon Wedges, for serving

Preparation
Step 1
In a bowl, whisk together tomato paste, horseradish, olive oil, hot sauce, salt, and pepper until smooth.
Step 2
Add shrimp to the bowl and toss until evenly coated with the horseradish mixture.
Step 3
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Step 4
Add the shrimp in a single layer and cook for 2–3 minutes per side, until pink and cooked through.
Step 5
Remove from heat and serve immediately with lemon wedges.
