Mediterranean Tuna Salad
Flaky tuna tossed with crisp vegetables, briny capers, and a lemon-herb dressing for a fresh, Mediterranean-style meal.
Allowed for Ideal Protein phases 1 to 3.

Ingredients
- 2 Cans Skipjack Tuna, drained
- ½ Medium Bell Pepper, chopped
- ½ Small Red Onion, chopped
- ½ cup Cucumber, chopped
- 1 Large Roasted Red Pepper, chopped
- 2 tbsp. Capers, chopped
- 2 tbsp. Fresh Flat-leaf Parsley, chopped
- 1 Large Lemon Juiced
- 2 tbsp. Dijon Mustard
- 3 tbsp. Olive Oil
- 1 tsp. Italian Seasoning
- 1 tsp. Garlic Powder
- ½ tsp. Sea Salt

Preparation
Step 1
In a large bowl, add drained tuna and gently flake it with a fork.
Step 2
Add bell pepper, red onion, cucumber, roasted red pepper, capers, and parsley. Toss gently to combine.
Step 3
In a small bowl, whisk together lemon juice, Dijon mustard, olive oil, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and sea salt until smooth.
Step 4
Pour the dressing over the tuna mixture and toss until evenly coated.
Step 5
Serve immediately or chill for 10–15 minutes for best flavor.
