
Pan Seared Tilapia
Golden and flavorful tilapia, seared to perfection with a blend of herbs and spices, is a simple, light, and delicious dish.
Allowed for Ideal Protein phases 1 to 3.

Ingredients
- 1 lb. Tilapia Fillets (4 fillets)
- ½ tsp. Salt
- ⅛ tsp. Ground Black Pepper
- ½ tsp. Garlic Powder
- ½ tsp. Paprika
- ½ tsp. Dried Basil
- 1 tbsp. Olive Oil

Preparation
Step 1
Pat tilapia fillets dry with a paper towel.
Step 2
Season both sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and dried basil.
Step 3
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until simmering.
Step 4
Place the fillets in the skillet and cook for 3–4 minutes per side, or until the fish is golden brown and flakes easily with a fork.
Step 5
Remove from skillet and transfer to a serving plate.
Step 6
Serve warm and enjoy!
