Spiced Beef Cabbage Wraps
A warm and comforting dish made with tender cabbage leaves wrapped around perfectly seasoned ground beef, fresh herbs, and aromatic spices — hearty, wholesome, and bursting with vibrant flavor.
Allowed for Ideal Protein phases 1 to 3.

Ingredients
- 2 tbsp. Coconut Oil
- ½ Shallot, diced small
- 1 lb. Ground Beef
- 1 Red Bell Pepper, diced small
- 2 tbsp. Cilantro, chopped
- 1 tsp. Ginger, minced
- 4 Garlic Cloves, minced
- 2 tsp. Cumin
- Salt and Pepper, to taste
- 8 Large Cabbage Leaves (Savoy or Napa Cabbage)

Preparation
Step 1
Heat coconut oil in a skillet over medium heat.
Step 2
Add diced shallot and sauté 1–2 minutes until softened.
Step 3
Add ground beef and cook 6–7 minutes, breaking it apart until browned.
Step 4
Stir in bell pepper, cilantro, ginger, garlic, cumin, salt, and pepper.
Step 5
Cook 3–4 minutes until peppers soften, and flavors blend.
Step 6
Meanwhile, steam or blanch cabbage leaves for 1–2 minutes until pliable, then pat dry.
Step 7
Spoon the spiced beef mixture into each cabbage leaf and roll or fold into wraps.
Step 8
Serve warm.
