Turkey Egg Roll Soup
This cozy soup brings together seasoned turkey, soft cabbage, and aromatic ginger with a hint of sesame for classic egg-roll flavor.
Allowed for Ideal Protein phases 1 to 3.

Ingredients
- 1 lb. Ground Turkey
- 2 tbsp. Oil
- 1 Small Green Cabbage, sliced into strips
- 6 cups Chicken Broth
- 1 tbsp. Low-sodium Soy Sauce
- 1 tsp. Garlic, minced
- 1 tsp. Fresh Ginger, grated
- ½ tsp. Sea Salt
- 1 tsp. Onion Powder
- 1 tbsp. Sesame Oil
- 2 tbsp. Green Onion, Chopped

Preparation
Step 1
Heat oil in a large pot over medium heat.
Step 2
Add ground turkey and cook 5–6 minutes, breaking it apart until browned.
Step 3
Add garlic and ginger. Cook 30–60 seconds until fragrant.
Step 4
Stir in cabbage and cook 2–3 minutes until slightly softened.
Step 5
Pour in chicken broth and soy sauce. Add sea salt and onion powder. Bring to a boil.
Step 6
Reduce heat and simmer 15–20 minutes until cabbage is tender and flavors are well blended.
Step 7
Stir in sesame oil and remove from heat.
Step 8
Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions. Enjoy!
