
Basil Vinaigrette
A vibrant, herbaceous dressing that adds a fresh kick to any salad, grilled veggies, or proteins.
Allowed for Ideal Protein phases 1 to 3.

Ingredients
- 2 cups Lightly Packed Fresh Basil Leaves
- 1 Garlic Clove, Chopped
- 2 tbsp. Red Wine Vinegar
- ½ tsp. Fine Salt
- 2 tsp. Capers
- ½ cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Preparation
Step 1
In a blender or food processor, combine basil, garlic, vinegar, salt, and capers.
Step 2
While blending, slowly drizzle in olive oil until the vinaigrette is smooth and emulsified.
Step 3
Adjust seasoning if needed.
Step 4
Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week.
