Blackened Green Beans

Charred green beans tossed with smoky, savory spices for a fast, flavor-packed side with just the right kick.

Ingredients

  • 8 cups Fresh Green Beans, trimmed and cut into 2-inch pieces
  • ½ tbsp. Oil
  • ⅓ cup Shallot, finely chopped
  • 2 Garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tsp. Blackening seasoning
  • Lemon, optional (for serving)

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Step 2

Add green beans and cook 4–5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until lightly charred and crisp-tender.

Step 3

Add chopped shallot and cook 1–2 minutes until softened.

Step 4

Stir in garlic and blackening seasoning. Cook 30–60 seconds until fragrant and evenly coated.

Step 5

Remove from heat and serve warm. Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the top if desired.
