Easy Air Fryer Trout

Crispy on the outside, tender inside — this air-fried trout is perfectly seasoned and ready in minutes!

Allowed for Ideal Protein phases 1 to 3.

Ingredients

  • 2 Trout Fillets (4–6 oz. each)
  • 1 tbsp. Oil
  • ½ tbsp. Old Bay Seasoning
  • ½ tsp. Garlic Powder

Preparation

Step 1

Pat the trout fillets dry with a paper towel.

Step 2

Brush both sides of each fillet with oil.

Step 3

In a small bowl, mix together Old Bay seasoning and garlic powder. Rub the seasoning mix evenly over both sides of the trout.

Step 4

Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).

Step 5

Place the fillets skin-side down in the air fryer basket and cook for 8–10 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.

Step 6

Serve hot and enjoy!
