Easy Hamburger Soup
A hearty, comforting soup with savory ground beef, tender turnips, and mixed vegetables — simple, flavorful, and perfect for a cozy meal.
Allowed for Ideal Protein phases 1 to 3.

Ingredients
- 1 lb. Ground Beef
- 3 Cloves Garlic, diced
- 3 cups Turnips, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 32 oz. Low-sodium Beef Broth
- 28 oz. Crushed Tomatoes
- 1 tsp. Italian Seasoning
- 1 tsp. Onion Powder
- 1 tsp. Salt
- ½ tsp. Black Pepper
- 3 cups Frozen Vegetables (whatever you have on hand)

Preparation
Step 1
In a large pot, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
Step 2
Add garlic and sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
Step 3
Stir in turnips, beef broth, crushed tomatoes, Italian seasoning, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Bring to a boil.
Step 4
Reduce heat and simmer for 15–20 minutes until the turnips are tender.
Step 5
Add frozen vegetables and cook for another 5–7 minutes until heated through.
Step 6
Taste and adjust seasoning as needed. Serve warm and enjoy!
