
Soy Sauce Eggs
Soy sauce eggs are flavorful, marinated eggs infused with five chinese spices for a savory, aromatic snack or main dish.
Allowed for Ideal Protein phases 1 to 3.

Ingredients
- 4 Large Eggs
- 5 tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 tbsp. Chinese Five Spice

Preparation
Step 1
Bring a pot of water to a boil and gently add the eggs. Boil for 7-8 minutes for soft-boiled or 10 minutes for hard-boiled.
Step 2
Transfer the eggs to an ice bath and let them cool for a few minutes. Peel the shells.
Step 3
In a bowl, mix soy sauce and chinese five spice.
Step 4
Add the peeled eggs to the mixture and let them marinate for at least 1 hour (or overnight for deeper flavor).
Step 5
Slice and serve. Enjoy!
