Intuitive Eating
Intuitive Eating is a philosophy that directly supports your learning goal of this course. It’s a style of eating that promotes a healthy attitude toward food and body image. It’s a process that reconnects you to your intuition and inner voice to guide you toward nourishing yourself in a way that is enjoyable and effortless.
This course is meant to help you break free from diet mentality, from a restrictive lifestyle, and having negative views about your own body. There are many phrases that circulate when it comes to nutrition, like “eating clean”, “cheat meals”, or “good vs bad” foods. When we label foods as good and bad, we assign value to them and in turn, our food choices can be burdened with guilt. Food is meant to be enjoyable and to nourish our body. It’s the only vessel you have, so learn to be kind to yourself and listen to your inner voice to find out what feels right for you!
Yes! This course is also offered in a private format.
Many clients prefer the convenience of a one-on-one format as the program may be started at any time and offers a more intimate setting for those that prefer privacy. All clients will still have access to the community features of the program and all other features of the group program.
This course will start July 6th. Make sure to register ahead of time to secure your place. Late registrations will not be accepted in order to make sure you get the full value and content of this course. But don’t worry, you can always join in on the next course start date in August.
This course is a 6-week self-study with group and mentor support. You do have the option of upgrading to a program with an individual focus as well to make sure you get the attention you need during this journey.
You will need access to a computer, tablet or cellphone and internet access. You will need an account with Facebook as well to join in on the support group. Our weekly live group sessions will run via Zoom/Facebook live so you can virtually participate from anywhere. Lastly, you will receive worksheets as part of your weekly education material. You will be able to use the electronic documents on your computer, but if you’re like me, you may want a printer to be able to print a hard copy of worksheets for your records.
Having an online course offers the benefit of flexibility. You can complete course material and participate in the Facebook group at your own pace. The live group calls are scheduled for Thursday evenings and will last about one hour. However, if you are not able to join, sessions will be recorded and posted in the private group so that you can still get the value of information that comes up during group calls.
