Pan-Fried Turnips and Spinach
A simple, earthy, light, and flavorful side dish that’s deliciously wholesome.

Ingredients
- 1 lb. Turnips, peeled and sliced or diced
- 1 tbsp. Olive Oil
- 1 Sprig Lemon Thyme or Regular Thyme
- 2 tbsp. Scallions, chopped
- 1 cup Fresh Spinach, loosely packed
- ¼ tsp. Salt
- ¼ tsp. Pepper

Preparation
Step 1
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
Step 2
Add the sliced turnips and cook 6–8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until lightly golden and tender.
Step 3
Add scallions and thyme leaves. Cook 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
Step 4
Stir in fresh spinach, salt, and pepper. Cook 1–2 minutes until spinach wilts.
Step 5
Remove from heat and serve warm. Enjoy!
