Ham & Cheese Protein Flatbread

Ham & Cheese Protein Flatbread

Transform deli classic flavors into a warm, gourmet meal with this GLP-1 friendly ham & cheese protein flatbread. A high-protein, yeast-free flatbread designed for deep savory comfort, high plate satisfaction, and steady blood sugar control. Plain Greek yogurt is combined with self-rising flour and savory seasonings to form a tender dough, par-baked, coated in a tangy Dijon-yogurt spread, topped with thin lean deli ham and melted part-skim mozzarella, and baked until bubbling.

Using plain Greek yogurt as the primary dough binder provides a rich dairy-protein base (casein and whey) that slows down gastric pacing, protecting lean muscle tissue while keeping hunger signals subdued for hours. Combining yogurt directly into the dough slashes the overall glycemic load compared to traditional white-flour bakery flatbreads. Paired with extra-lean deli ham and part-skim mozzarella, it delivers a high protein-to-fat ratio and a completely flat blood sugar response.
