Ingredients
- 1 medium jicama
- 2 tbsp. fresh lime juice
- Pinch of Cayenne pepper
- Pinch of salt
- Dried parsley – for garnish
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 250°F.
Step 2
Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper and lightly grease with oil or use a silicone mat.
Step 3
Peel and thinly slice jicama – preferably using a mandolin for uniform size.
Step 4
Place jicama chips in a bowl and carefully toss them with lime juice, cayenne pepper, and salt.
Step 5
Place jicama slices on the baking sheet in a single layer.
Step 6
Bake for 30 minutes and then turn them over and bake for another 30 minutes, or until edges turn up and are golden and crispy.
Step 7
Transfer jicama chips to a cooling rack to cool off. Let them further crisp up
Step 8
Garnish with parsley leaves and serve with your favorite dip or vegan yogurt. Enjoy!
