Noodles and Ideal Protein Diet

Serving size

Ingredients

  • 1 Ideal Protein Konjac Noodles
  • 32 oz. beef broth
  • Chili garlic sauce (if like spicy)
  • Petite Sirloin – cut into fine and thin strips
  • 1 egg
  • Freshly diced jalapenos
  • Bean sprouts
  • Green onions
  • Cilantro

Preparation

Step 1

Start by opening the Ideal Protein Konjac Noodles. Bring a pot of water to a boil and cook the noodles for about 5 minutes.

Step 2

In a hot frying pan, drizzle olive oil and put in the cooked noodles with your favorite seasonings (salt, pepper, or garlic powder). Fry the noodles until they turn lightly brown and a little crispy on the edges. This adds a nice texture and flavor to the noodles.

Step 3

In a stockpot, pour in the 32 oz. of beef broth and bring it to a boil over medium heat. This will serve as the base for your dish, giving it a rich, savory flavor.

Step 4

In a separate small frying pan, cook an egg the way you like it. A soft, runny yolk works well for this recipe, but feel free to make it sunny-side-up or fried hard.

Step 5

Once the broth is boiling, dip the thin slices of petite sirloin into it, piece by piece. Stir them gently, and allow the beef to cook for a few minutes. The thin strips will cook quickly in the broth, giving them a tender texture.

Step 6

Place the crispy noodles in a serving bowl as the base. Top them with bean sprouts, freshly diced jalapenos, green onions, and cilantro for added crunch and freshness. If you enjoy spicy food, add a small spoonful of chili garlic sauce.

Step 7

Pour the hot beef broth with the slices of petite sirloin over the noodles and veggies. Finally, place the fried egg on top of the beef noodle, letting the yolk break, and mix with the broth for extra richness. Serve immediately, and enjoy your delicious beef noodle dish!
