Zesty Mexican Shrimp Skillet Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 tsp. Extra-virgin Olive Oil
  • 3 Green Onions, Chopped
  • 2 Small Jalapeño Peppers, Seeded and Finely Chopped
  • 1 Red Bell Pepper, Chopped
  • 3 Garlic Cloves, Minced
  • 2 tsp. Chili Powder
  • 1 tsp. Ground Cumin
  • 1 tsp. Ground Coriander
  • 1 tsp. Kosher Salt
  • ½ tsp. Black Pepper
  • 1¼ lb. Shrimp, Peeled and Deveined
  • Chopped Fresh Cilantro (for Garnish)
  • Fresh Lime Juice (for Serving)

Preparation

Step 1

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Step 2

Add green onions, jalapeño, and red bell pepper. Sauté for 2–3 minutes until softened.

Step 3

Stir in the garlic, chili powder, cumin, coriander, salt, and black pepper. Cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.

Step 4

Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 3–5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the shrimp are pink and cooked.

Step 5

Remove from heat. Squeeze fresh lime juice over the top and garnish with chopped cilantro.

Step 6

Serve hot and enjoy!
