Easy Zucchini Noodles

Zucchini Noodles are an amazing way to still enjoy your favorite noodle dishes without worrying about your carb intake. This is an awesome low-carb, gluten-free alternative to flour-based noodles.

Allowed for all Ideal Protein phases. So, go on and try with some Chicken Pesto Bowl or Turkey Skillet.

Ingredients

  • 1 large zucchini
  • 1 tbsp. Grapeseed oil
  • Sea salt – to taste
  • Pepper – to taste
  • 1 tsp. of Mrs. Dash

Preparation

Step 1

Trim the ends of zucchini using the wide julienne blade of a mandolin or a sharp knife or a vegetable peeler

Step 2

Cut zucchini lengthwise into noodle-like strips

Step 3

Saute in grapeseed oil in a non-stick pan until slightly limp but not mushy

Step 4

Season to taste with sea salt, pepper, Mrs. Dash

Step 5

Serve and savor!
